Communikit update, Oct 21 (Server 2.93.6)
Posts can take themselves down, posts can be duplicated, admins can sign in with a code, and every email moved to the new design.
Posts can take themselves down.
Auto-Retract takes a post down at a date and time you pick in the town’s time zone, on a job’s closing date, or when an event ends. It can take the Facebook copy down too.
Duplicate a post.
From its row or preview, or several at once. Copies come in as drafts titled “(copy)”.
Editing a post keeps its publish date.
Typo fixes no longer bump a post to the top; “Move to top” does it when you want.
No more fake “unregistered users”.
Phones no longer create several guests at once, and we removed duplicate guests.
Forms keep their email addresses.
A form set to email delivery needs an address before it can be saved or published, and editing a form no longer wipes its addresses. We repaired 6 forms that edits had broken
Sign-in codes for admins.
Signing in to the admin panel can now ask for a code sent by email. Super admins always get one, each town can switch it on for its admins, and “Trust this browser” skips it for 30 days.
Every email in the new design.
Sign-in codes, password resets, sign-ups, form submissions and responses, document approvals, support tickets and reports now use the Communikit design system, with dark mode. Form answers now show exactly as typed.
Push notifications to Android devices from the server are more reliable.
2.93.2 is live on the App Store for 25 more apps.
The whole 2.93 update: the Community Calendar tab, instant search, rich posts, custom categories and dark mode fixes. 50 apps now run 2.93.
